I visited several doctors during that period; one nurse called me a hypercondriac - I had blood in my ear (10 years later to prove ear damage.) I thought I was dying of cancer. Following the crime, I sought help where none was on offer. In the aftermath, Post Traumatic Stress and stuttering grew out of societies ignorance and fear.
